About Vacuum Filters
Vacuum filters use negative pressure (typically 0.2–0.8 bar) to draw liquid through the filter cloth, forming a cake on the outside of the filter element. They are widely used for continuous, high-tonnage filtration in mining, chemical, and environmental applications.
Common configurations include disc filters (multiple rotating discs), pan filters (tilting pan segments), and table/indexing filters(horizontal rotating tables). Each type requires specific cloth properties for optimal cake formation and discharge.
