Series Overview

The RF-FBD Series provides air distribution and product retention fabrics for all types of fluid bed processors. The fabric sits at the base of the product bowl, distributing heated or cooled air uniformly through the powder bed while retaining fine particles. Precise air permeability control ensures optimal fluidisation without channelling or dead zones.

Key Features

Engineered for the specific demands of fluid bed processing.

Uniform Air Distribution

Tightly controlled air permeability ensures even fluidisation across the entire product bowl. No hot spots, no under-fluidised zones.

Fine Particle Retention

Calibrated pore sizes retain fine powder while allowing air to pass freely. Minimal product loss through the distribution plate.

Permanent Antistatic

Conductive stainless steel fibres woven into the fabric provide permanent ESD protection for ATEX-classified environments.

Temperature Stability

Dimensionally stable at inlet air temperatures up to 150°C. No shrinkage or permeability drift during extended drying cycles.

Easy Cleaning

Smooth monofilament surfaces resist product adhesion. Quick to clean between batches — essential for multi-product pharma facilities.

Validated Performance

We supply IQ/OQ documentation, material certificates, and air permeability test reports for pharmaceutical validation requirements.
