Material Options
Belt material selection depends on chemical environment, temperature, and mechanical loads.
PET (Polyester)
The standard choice for belt filters. Excellent mechanical strength, good dimensional stability, and cost-effective for a wide range of dewatering applications.
PP (Polypropylene)
Full pH resistance (1–14) makes PP the material of choice for acid and alkali slurries. Slightly lower temperature limit but excellent chemical durability.
PA (Polyamide / Nylon)
Superior abrasion resistance and elasticity. Well-suited for mining belt filters where sharp particles cause accelerated surface wear.
Belt Configurations
Clipper Seam Belts
Quick on-site installation and replacement using interlocking stainless steel clips. Ideal for frequent belt changes and where downtime must be minimised.
Endless Belts
Woven as a continuous loop for maximum seam-free performance. Best for high-pressure applications where seam leakage must be eliminated.
Guide Strip Options
Welded or sewn guide strips for precise belt tracking. Available as V-guides, flat guides, or T-profiles to match your machine’s guidance system.
Edge & Surface Finishing
Heat-Sealed Edges
Prevents fraying and extends edge life. Standard on all RF-BF belts to ensure consistent performance over the belt’s full service life.
Reinforced Edges
Double-layer or bound edges for belt press applications where high lateral tension loads are common.
Calendered Surface
Heat-pressure finishing creates a smoother cake contact surface for improved release and initial filtrate clarity.
