About Air Slides
Air slides (also called airslides, fluidslides, or pneumatic conveyors) transport dry bulk powders using a permeable fabric membrane. Low-pressure air is blown through the fabric from below, fluidising the powder sitting on top and allowing it to flow by gravity along a slight incline — without any moving mechanical parts.
The air slide fabric is the heart of the system. It must allow a controlled, uniform air flow to pass through while supporting the weight of the material above. Too much permeability causes blow-through; too little prevents fluidization. The right fabric ensures smooth, consistent material flow with minimal air consumption.

Controlled Air Permeability
Precisely engineered pore structure delivers uniform air distribution across the full slide width. Permeability range typically 3–10 m³/m²/min at 200 Pa.
Abrasion Resistance
Cement and alumina particles are highly abrasive. Calendered polyester fabric with high-tenacity yarns resists surface wear for extended service life.
Temperature Resistance
Material temperatures in cement plants can reach 200°C+. Standard PET handles up to 150°C; high-temp variants with special finishes extend this range.
Dimensional Stability
The fabric must maintain its properties under tension and temperature without stretching, sagging, or changing permeability over time.
Custom Widths & Lengths
Air slides vary widely in width (200–2,000 mm) and length (up to 80 m). We supply fabric on rolls or cut to your exact slide dimensions.
Seam-Free Installation
Continuous fabric rolls minimise joints and reduce the risk of leakage points. Where joints are needed, we provide overlap recommendations.
