Roll Goods — Filter Fabrics

Specialty Filter Fabrics

High-performance filter fabrics for extreme conditions. PEEK, PVDF, PPS, PTFE, and Aramid — when standard polymers reach their limits.

Available as roll goods for self-fabrication, or fabricated to your machine specification as part of our RF-FF, RF-CF, and RF-ANF product series.

High-Performance Polymers

PEEK (Polyetheretherketone)

Highest temperature resistance
260 °C continuous pH 1–14

The ultimate high-performance filter polymer. Exceptional thermal stability, chemical inertness across the full pH range, and excellent mechanical strength at elevated temperatures. Resistant to steam sterilisation.

Typical applications: Aggressive chemical processes, high-temperature filtration, pharmaceutical, strong acid/alkali environments.

PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride)

Best oxidation resistance
150 °C continuous pH 1–14

Excellent resistance to oxidising agents, halogens, and strong acids. Good mechanical strength and UV resistance. Lower cost alternative to PEEK for many aggressive chemical applications.

Typical applications: Chlorine-containing processes, oxidising acid filtration, semiconductor manufacturing, aggressive chemical waste.

PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)

Flame retardant, flue gas
190 °C continuous pH 1–14

Outstanding chemical resistance, including against chlorinated solvents and strong alkalis. Excellent dimensional stability at high temperatures. Inherently flame retardant.

Typical applications: Flue gas filtration (power plants, waste incineration), chemical processing at elevated temperatures, ATEX environments.

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene)

Chemically inert, non-stick
260 °C continuous pH 0–14

Virtually inert to all chemicals. Extremely low friction surface for exceptional cake release. Non-stick properties reduce blinding. Available as monofilament yarns or membrane coatings.

Typical applications: Extreme chemical environments, fine particle membrane filtration, pharmaceutical, food processing with aggressive cleaning regimes.

Aramid (Nomex® / Kevlar®)

High temperature + strength
200 °C continuous (Nomex®), 180 °C (Kevlar®) pH 4–11

Exceptional thermal stability with outstanding mechanical strength. High cut and tear resistance. Nomex®: thermal applications. Kevlar®: mechanical strength. Inherently flame retardant.

Typical applications: High-temperature gas filtration, cement kilns, asphalt plants, steel mills, ATEX-rated dust collection.
