Polyester (PET) Filter Fabric
The workhorse of industrial filtration. Polyester delivers the highest tensile strength and dimensional stability of all standard filter polymers, with continuous temperature resistance up to 150 °C.
Material Properties
High Temperature Resistance
Continuous operation up to 150 °C — the highest among standard filter polymers. Ideal for hot process streams.
Excellent Mechanical Strength
Superior tensile strength and dimensional stability under sustained pressure. Minimal elongation even after extended use.
Abrasion Resistance
Outstanding resistance to mechanical wear. First choice for mining, mineral processing, and other abrasive slurries.
Chemical Resistance
Good resistance to most acids at moderate concentrations. Moderate resistance to alkalis (pH 2–10). Not suitable for strong alkalis.
Low Moisture Absorption
PET absorbs minimal water (≤ 0.4%), ensuring consistent filtration performance and fast drying of retained filter cakes.
FDA Grades Available
Food-contact compliant PET filter fabrics available for edible oil, sugar, starch, and other food processing applications.
